The Sodarshan Chakra Kriya Course

[My portrait made by Frank Ulmer]

You are standing in the middle of a chaotic city-action. Around you are frantic people wearing virus-masks and in the distance you hear turmoil, explosions and ambulances. You pick up the basic nervosity of the zeitgeist.
Behind you is a house called “3HO” with entering and leaving yoga-students.
In front of you is an ancient building with the sign:

The Sodarshan Chakra Kriya School

You enter the entrance hall and hear those words:

In all times, people were searching for the purpose of life.

One is born and lives; then obstacles occur.
First these problems are taken as a necessity or as a part of ones own life, but sometimes one asks:
Why do these things happen just the way they do ?
It does seem not to make any sense.
Is there a solutions to all my problems ?
Who am I , for that I encounter all these situations ?

To handle this problems, most humans define themselves by what they do,
and look for an identity through the experience of love.
Some people are dedicated to their believes;
and others surrender to fate.
Some search for the principles behind all of this through scientific thinking,
others meditate on the occult.
All these ways are necessary, but all of them are incomplete.

On one wall you see a

You are reading a placard, on which is written:

What does make Sodarshan Chakra Kriya (SCK) special is that it is a spiritual concentrate which does yield more results than an average meditation of the same length.
That does make it appealing for people with little time
as well as those with strong aspirations.

In opposition to the usually pieces of many different yoga-exercises, this is one single kriya (exercise), which does combine Bhakti with archaic yogic and tantric methods.

Each step comprises of a 3 minute meditation and 20 minutes reading time;
and compile into a 3 month study which is designed to guide spiritual beginners slowly into a daily practice;
or to motivate more advanced students to do 40, 90 or even 120 days in a row.

If practiced condinuously for a long time;
the deconstruction of the ego can clean the Karma drastically,
and therewith lift the veil between the illusionary aspect of reality and your divine self.

You will also be given an individual kabbalistic analysis of your upcoming spiritual cycles and continue to be coached via email for as long as you need it.

You proceed to walk further through the building up to its backside and see a beautiful sanctuary-garden with a fountain from which a fresh breeze of air does bathe you.

In front of you a vast view of a beautiful long valley arises in which a society does thrive – lifely, yet not as frantic as in front of the house.
The stairs which did lead out of the college continue to build a majestetic ramp up to a pyramid-shaped mountain at the end of the valley.

At both sides of the valley, rock-formations rise, nearly as tall as the pyramid-mountain. You can’t see what is above the valley, but it seems that it is possible to view the life down here clearly in a heavenly peace.

Towards the right side it is possible to climb up the mountain, and in the other side of the valley, long ascending plateauts are hammered into the rock-formations, which also lead to the top.
Then you hear this speech in the garden:

Remember a dream you had whilst you were sleeping.
[Remember the dream as good as you can with all details around it.]

Now reflect upon this dream.
If you appeared in this dream, then look at yourself as the observer of everything.
You call yourself I, and the visually observing organ is called the eye – the same sound.
So the I is the eye of your dream – a channel from you into the dreamworld.

Everything which happens around you in your dream is part of you.
Conversations for example are dialogs within yourself.
Now go one step further and imagine that you would be in a dream right now.
Everything you experience turns out to be merely your mental projections.
Everything !
The buildings around you, the people, nature, these sounds, and even yourself.

Try not to understand intellectually;
perceive current.
Perceive a current which may seem fixed in its place
still you know that it is moving all the time.
This limited view may be useful to initially deal with the material world, but it does not bring us closer to reality.

Our entire ambience including ourselves can be seen as a materialization or condensed mental projection.
A projection of whom ?
If you are the dreamer, you must be the projector in your wake state too.
But who are you, if this is not reality?

You are a channel to the spirit behind everything,
just like a gate to another world.
You are a gate to another world
and its reflection is your face !

At the very end of the valley, where the meditation goal is reached, you hear the sound of bliss:

For a while you continue to observe the lively action within the valley where climbers do fly with hang-gliders to the other side;
some let themselves glide down from the plateauts to the stairs, some rise up to them in teleferics;
and from the mountain top a clear river flows into the valley which does carry balanced people in gondolas.

You write an event into your calender for today in a year with the title: “SodarshanChakraKriya.com”. By then you will know whether this kind of school is to your liking.

On top of a bench you find this pamphlet:
